About Us

Dove House Table Tennis Club has been a fixture of the local sporting scene for decades. What started as a handful of enthusiasts and a couple of battered tables has grown into a thriving club with a strong and welcoming membership.

We pride ourselves on being genuinely open to everyone. Some of our members play competitive league table tennis across three divisions; plenty of others just come for the rallies, the exercise and the tea breaks. Our handicap system means a newcomer and a county-level veteran can share a table and both walk away having had a proper match.

The club is run entirely by volunteers — organisers who set up the ladders and tournaments, coaches who give their time to juniors and improvers, and a committee that keeps the lights on and the balls in stock.
